Currently Coveting: Plentiful Pineapples

Did you know that a pineapple is a sign of welcome? It's true. It's one of those random facts I learned when I visited Colonial Williamsburg for the first time and noticed them on nearly every bannister and door knocker. In fact, adding a pineapple door knocker to my own house is tops on my home-improvement list. Since a new door is needed for that (not to mention a paint job), I'm finding myself settling for the plethora of pineapples that J.Crew is filling their stores with recently. I mean, they're everywhere, and this southern lady loves every second of it. 

I purchased the swimsuit below and received so many compliments on it at the beach. The iphone case absolutely MUST be mine, and don't even get me started on the gold embossed tee. Get in my closet now!

Currently Coveting

I have tried to be SUPER good with not shopping or spending frivolously this month. I mean, can you believe that I went to Charleston last weekend and didn't spend a dime?! No really. I didn't buy anything to commemorate my trip. Mostly because I got the best souvenir ever, but also because I am broke broke broke. However, that doesn't stop my eyes from meandering across Pinterest, magazines, and Kate Spade new arrivals. Here is what I'm currently coveting:

Yep! We're engaged! It happened on Friday the 15th in a quaint little courtyard in Charleston. We spent the rest of the weekend eating like kings, calling all of our friends and family, touring the city, and gawking at my newest accessory. It was perfect.

I definitely want to nab this print to add to our house somewhere; it would be a great constant reminder of our engagement. It's definitely on  my wish-list.
