I love Richard Blais. It's not a secret. I was pumped to witness Lauren be the first to recognize him at Fritti after Top Chef round 1, and I was basically star-struck when I saw him cook in front of me at the original Flip on the West Side.
Richard (we're on a first name basis) has a lot of up-and-coming projects in the future including opening a restaurant in midtown, starting HD (Haute Doggery) in Poncey-Highland, and this latest update - a cookbook!
It is scheduled to be released in November. Add it to my list for Christmas 2011!
