Last week, I head Ellen mention how part of the fun of Christmas is seeing the joy on children's faces. I whole-heartedly agree, but since I don't have any kiddos, I'll have to settle for the joy on my puppy's face. I'd love to watch her eagerly enjoy any of these treats!

The holidays are typically a time of laughter, food, friendship, and...house guests. Whether you're entertaining friends, family, or both this season, make you guests feel a part of your home by creating a stocking especially for them. Place it with yours on Christmas morning or put it in their room to welcome them. Add a few local products from your town and fill it up with other fun things they might enjoy. My dog is my baby. We call her "princess," "sweet girl," "my love," etc. It's border-line ridiculous. But, she is definitely a part of our family and makes us whole. As such, Ryan deserves a packed stocking just like her parents. Do you stuff a stocking for your Fido?

Stocking Stuffer Guide: For Him

Last week, I shared with you how to fill a perfect stocking for her. This week, it's what you should get your guy. There are some great gifts on this one especially the One Screw Loose IPA Beer Jam. It's made locally here in Atlanta with all local ingredients (including the beer!). It can be used as a rub or mixed with cream cheese (YUM) for a dip. And what a fun surprise that your guy wouldn't think to buy himself!

Stocking Stuffer Guide: For Her

When we were kids, our favorite part of Christmas wasn't the big bicycles or new Easy Bake Ovens, but our filled to the brim stockings. My mom is the best stocking-stuffer I know. Our stockings always had fruit to fill the toe, followed by candy, followed by socks & other unmentionables, mixed in with jewelry, nail polishes, and other small gifts. They weighed a few pounds and literally over-flowed. I am determined to carry-on the tradition at my house - even though it's just the two of us and fur-baby Ryan. Over the next few weeks, I'm giving stocking stuffer gift guides. I'd be thrilled if mine was stuffed exactly like the one below!
