Friday Foodie: F&B's New Menu

F&B has been an Atlanta mainstay for as long as I can remember. While its locations have shifted once or twice, the essence of F&B stays the same: a restaurant that focuses on French and Mediterranean cuisine that blends traditional food with the unexpected.

I remember first hearing about F&B several years ago when the burger craze was at its peak. F&B had just moved to their Peachtree Road location near Phipps Plaza, and Hunter and I were in habit of trying a new ATL restaurant weekly. Our experience did not disappoint. When I was invited to try F&B's latest menu, I jumped at the chance to enjoy the experience once again. Last week, I joined ten other bloggers, writers, publishers, and tourism professionals at F&B. We were treated to a tasting menu highlighting Chef Capo's latest creations. It was, needless to say, an incredible dinner.

While I didn't get to snap photos of every item we noshed, I did make sure to take a few of my favorite dishes of the evening. Highlights for me included the Tuna Crudo complete with chives, basil olive oil, shallots, capers, & grilled lemons. While I don't always order tuna, I was pleasantly surprised by the presentation of this dish as well as the layers of flavor. Another favorite for me was the Cured Salmon. It was bite-sized perfection of pumpernickel bread, grapefruit, lemon creme fraiche, & french mustard dressing. Enjoying small plates that were prepared with such care was definitely a way for each of us to taste each dish but also see the delicate precision that Chef Capo takes with each of his plates.

Thanks so much to Phase 3 PR for inviting me to enjoy the new F&B menu and to Chef Capo for preparing a series of fantastic dishes for us.
