When my girlfriends and I plan a weekend getaway, we always divvy up the meals. Each of us takes a meal and plans to prep, cook, and clean for the group. Not only is it fun, but it's an economical and stress-free way to feed a crowd. I always love researching what I'm going to fix for my friends, and this past weekend, I found a real breakfast winner: a yogurt parfait bar.
I picked up a ton of fresh fruits, the very best granola, and my favorite flavors of Chobani. Once I prepped everything into cute bowls, the girls were free to build their parfait according to taste. I added some Al Fresco chicken maple sausage for a little balance of savory, and it really was a perfect breakfast. Plus, it was stress free! Almost all of the work was done for me minus the sausage (thanks Lauren for handling that!). A great breakfast for a great start to a day at the lake!
So delightful. And I don't even usually like fruit!
