Influenster Sugar 'n Spice VoxBox & An Annoucement!

A few months ago, I signed up for Influenster, and I am here to tell you that I am SO glad I did! Influenster is a website and community that sends products to try, review, and get the word out about. I was lucky enough to be chosen to receive the Sugar & Spice VoxBox, and it has been such a blast experimenting with the products. First, let me show you all the goodies from my box:

Look how full it is! There is everything from toothpaste to belVita breakfast cookies (YUM, btw). Curious as to how I liked everything? Read on!

The first item I tried were the Dickinson's Witch Hazel Oil Controlling Towelettes. I really really like this product. My face felt incredibly clean after using them, and they are individually wrapped which I think make them perfect for traveling. The only thing I didn't love about this product was the smell; witch hazel is quite powerful, but it's something I could deal with for the clean feeling they left behind!

Next, I tried the Colgate items. I've been using the Optic White toothpaste ever since the first night I tried it, and I LOVE it. It leaves a great feeling and very fresh breath. I was hoping to love the mouthwash that went with it, but I must say that it was much too powerful for me to use regularly. I typically use an electric toothbrush, but I took the one from Colgate with me to Mobile, and I liked the bristles - not too soft & not too firm.

The Splenda Nectresse is the latest product from Splenda. It is 100% natural and contains no artificial sweeteners. I've enjoyed using this as a sugar replacement over the past few weeks with my cooking and baking. In fact, I made a gluten free strawberry shortcake with it that was out of this world!

And, last but not least, the final product was the belVita breakfast biscuits. I received the cinnamon brown sugar package, and it was delicious!! I even added a bit of peanut butter to the top for an added treat. These are about 6 WW points per package, but I think breaking the package into two for an after school/work snack would be perfect!

What do you think? Are you ready to try any of these products?

FYI: I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

I also want to go ahead and give you guys all a heads up about something I am planning for next week: Cocktail Week! I have a few great products and recipes to share with you, and I thought you all might have some lovely libations of your own to share, so I decided to make a week out of it. Start thinking about what beverage secrets you can let us in on and get your posts ready for the week of April 22-26. The link-up goes live on the 22nd, but will stay up for a full week. Get mixing, ladies, and don't forget to add this button to your sidebar or posts if you are participating!

  1. I wish I was more creative with cocktails! Mine include: open the bottle of wine and pour. Ha ha!! I'll share this though on twitter.

  2. I also received the Influenster box, and I love the sweetener, love the toothbrush and toothpaste, but do NOT love the mouthwash. Still using it, though. I'm surprised that I DO see a difference in whiteness! :)
