Essentials: Moroccan Oil

Last week, on one of those trips to Target where you go in for one thing and come out with everything EXCEPT what you went in for, I noticed that nearly every hair company had one new little product: Moroccan Hair Oil.

I first heard about this product at Dry Bar because the stylists use their hair spray (which smells amazing). Unfortunately, the Moroccan Oil brand can cost a pretty penny. However, it looks like lots of other companies are jumping on the bandwagon and creating their own. I wanted to buy the Organix, but at $7.99, I couldn't swing it. So, I went with Garnier's version. The product is supposed to help damaged hair and smooth frizziness, so I figure the perfect time to try it out will be this week at the beach. I'll let you know how I like it when I get back!

  1. Moroccan oil is quite expensive, but worth it! I've used moroccan oil in my hair, just not this brand. I have a bottle of Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil for my hair which I use for heat styling and it's worked well so far to protect it and get it looking shiny.

    1. You're so right about the shininess, and it has worked GREAT against the beach humidity! I'm so glad I decided to make a small investment :) Thanks for stopping by - don't forget to check out the new blog probablypolkadots.blogspot.com on Wednesday of next week!
