Friday Foodie: Pizza

For years, I hated pizza and refused to eat it. If you've known me long enough, you probably remember this phase. Really, it wasn't pizza that I loathed, it was greasy, nasty, only good for curing a bad case of the late night munchies, delivery pizza. However, once I discovered that there were places that served pizza in a new, interesting, and genuinely tasty way, I found my love for it once again. Here are some places around town to get some yummy pizza. And hey, what's better on a lazy Friday than take-out pizza?

Buckhead: Hollie gave us the heads up about this great new place: Fuoco di Napoli, and it was fantastic! It's still on the DL, so you can easily get in any time you want. To top it off, the food is EXCELLENT. Rivals Antico (see below). Hands down.

Brookhaven: Vintage Pizza was one of my favorite places to nosh when I lived in Brookhaven. I love it's cool building and yummy slices.

Inman Park: I don't remember having pizza when we tried Fritti a few years ago, but I've been dying to try it again! They have a great patio (with heaters) right on Highland for prime people watching.

Midtown: Antico. This place really doesn't need an introduction or an explanation. If you haven't been yet, run, don't walk. Get there early and do yourself a favor, order dessert!

West Side: I'm excited to try the newest member to the West Side's hipster eateries, WestSide Pie. Their menu sounds awesome and unique: Apricot? Loaded Baked Potato? DONE AND DONE.
