Atlanta in the Know

There has been a lot happening around town recently. From store openings to fashion shows, I've been bopping around from place to place scoping out exactly what and where you need to know about. If you're in the Atlanta area, plan to pop into these places soon, and if you're not, add them to your itinerary for the next time you're in town!

WSPD has long been one of my favorite parts of town (after all, we even got married there). Last week I attended the annual fashion show, A Really Good Strut, showcasing all of fall's trends from the district's many stores. There was tons of fall style to be seen from stores like Bilt-House & Calypso St. Barth, but I have to say I was most impressed by BHLDN's line.

Dixon Rye is WSPD's newest member. Located in the old Iron Works building, Dixon Rye is a high end home store with unique, classic finds. If you're looking to add a statement piece to your home that's top quality, look no further than Dixon Rye.

Okay ladies, if you've never had a bra fitting with an expert, it's time. Intimacy locations recently had a huge overhaul and are now operating as British retailer to the Queen, Rigby & Peller. I had an opportunity to have a fitting a few weeks ago, and am kicking myself for not putting myself on a regular fitting routine. The experience is comfortable, unique, and I daresay, confidence boosting. Locate a Rigby & Peller near you or visit Atlanta's location at Phipp's Plaza.

Ponce City Market is THE place to be in Atlanta. In fact, while there last night, Hunter and I saw Owen Wilson. True story. But it was Rejuvenation that stole the show. This home decor store is one of the neatest stores around. I love that they carry a combination of their own designs along with found items, so if you're looking for a unique piece, this is your go-to store. Be sure to check out their lighting, too. Such fun, industrial pieces.

Did someone say chocolate? Cacao has been one of my favorite hidden gems for as long as I can remember. In fact, I've been a customer since their very first chocolate making factory in a tiny space in Inman Park. Now with four Atlanta locations, Cacao is the go-to spot for hostess gifts. Be sure to visit their beautiful store at Buckhead Atlanta.
