Atlanta Eats: The Cookie Studio

When I first drove passed The Cookie Studio on Pharr, I have to say that I really didn't have much of a desire to pay this shop a visit. For one thing, if I am going to splurge on dessert, then I am probably going to nosh some cake. For another, I was stupid. Yes, stupid. Just plain silly. Because if I had stopped, I would have discovered one of the most delectable hidden gems in Atlanta: a place where delicious coffee flows, homemade English muffins reign, and cookies are king. 

The Cookie Studio offers a wide range of sandwiches, pastries, and of course, cookies, but the real secret is in the breakfast. Snuggle up to the counter and place your order for a unique breakfast sandwich, or if you're feeling sassy, a breakfast burrito. What you'll receive is nothing short of delightful: a homemade, slightly crunchy English muffin topped with whatever your heart desires. For me, that includes pimento cheese, bacon, and roasted cherry tomatoes. No Cookie Studio breakfast is complete without a side of fresh fruit. Even though this is a small addition, it's one of my favorite things that the restaurant does. Such a great touch!

This dive is full of locals from the surrounding Buckhead neighborhoods. I have to say that Buckhead isn't known for its mom and pop restaurants, but The Cookie Studio changes that mentality. We eat here often and suggest that you do, too! Enjoy your breakfast on the patio with free wi-fi and start your day off on the right foot.
